Last Thursday, on the 27th of June, we enjoyed cycling and we learned about road safety!

The topic of this week at DIA-drasis Child Centre was road safety! We learned rules and good behaviour when we walk at the street and we played with signs and traffic lights…

But the best moment was cycling! BikeIT, a company we rental bikes at the seafront of the city, was kind enough to offer us without any second thoughts 13 bicycles for the children at DIA-drasis!!! We really appreciated the offer and we took the chance to learn how to ride a bike! For many of the children was their first time on a bike and they enjoyed it beyond all expectations!

So, we geared up with our bikes and helmets for safety and headed to the Road Safety Park of Faliro, just a few meters next to BikeIT, at Macedonia Palace Hotel area. There our education team had prepared various activities and children learned to respect stop signs, pedestrians and fellow cyclists on the road!
