It was a great pleasure to host at DIA-drasis a joint activity with SolidarityNow yesterday afternoon! It was a very interesting participatory and psycho-social empowering activity. Refugee students 12-14 years old who participate in the after-school support lessons program of SN took the role of the “teacher” and facilitated the young learners of the Child Center to think upon what makes someone stronger! It was a challenging process for both the “grown-up” students and our “little” learners…  Children created their own “shield” to protect themselves drawing on concepts and things that value and preserve their physical or emotional safety and well-being revealing the powers and strength of one’s inner super-hero!

Looking forward to our next joint activity!
