Here’s a summary of the activities that took place at our ILC- MDAT- YMCA in April:

  • Educational Excursions

In April, our integration center organized two educational excursions focused on historical landmarks within the city. These excursions were conducted as part of the Soft Skills subject, providing our students with valuable insights into the historical significance of various sites

  • “Together as a family” program- Easter Candle Decoration Workshop

As part of the “Together as a Family” program, an Easter candle decoration workshop was held on April 14. The event was well-attended by families benefiting from the HELIOS program, fostering a sense of togetherness and community involvement.

  • Voluntary Blood Donation Drive

On April 5 and 6, the 10th Voluntary Blood Donation event was held at YMCA Thessaloniki in collaboration with 18 entities. This initiative was a resounding success, with a total of 106 donations received. Notably, some of our students and professionals actively participated as donors, contributing to the commendable outcome of the event.

These diverse activities in April showcased our commitment to educational enrichment, community engagement, and altruistic involvement, reflecting the holistic approach of our integration center in fostering a well-rounded and supportive environment for all involved.

Language of AUTH (Aristotle University of Thessaloniki), is a partner of IOM Greece
(International Organization for Migration) in the implementation of the integration program
HELIOS Project, which has been funded by the Ministry of Migration and Asylum since 2022,
operating as one of the Integration Learning Centers for Refugees in Thessaloniki.
