In a significant development for the Brotherhood of Cultures program, funded by YMCA Europe and implemented by YMCA Thessaloniki, the esteemed Consul of Ukraine in Thessaloniki, Mr. Yevhen Shkvyra, paid a visit to the organization today. The purpose of the visit was to express his gratitude for the activities that have been conducted and discuss the upcoming activities planned for November within the program. Beyond the immediate plans, the visit also served as a platform to explore future collaborations. Recognizing the significance of establishing long-term partnerships, Mr. Shkvyra and the YMCA representatives engaged in fruitful discussions regarding joint initiatives that promote intercultural dialogue and cooperation. These potential collaborations hold the promise of further strengthening the bonds of friendship and understanding among cultures.

The meeting, held in the welcoming premises of YMCA Thessaloniki, was attended by Mr. Ioannou, the General Director of YMCA Thessaloniki, Mrs. Aristi Tzoni, the Director of the Social Action Department, Ms. Dolores Tarrafeta “Brotherhood of cultures” program coordinator and Olesia Moisiienko, member of the Board of Directors of the Association “Ukrainian Greek Initiative”.
