Across Europe this year on the 27th of September Researchers’ Night is celebrated:
European Researchers’ Nights are public events dedicated to bringing researchers closer to the public. They showcase the diversity of research and highlight the impact of research on our daily lives. The aim is also to motivate young people to embark on research careers. The events promote how researchers contribute to our society by displaying their work in an interactive and engaging forum.
In Thessaloniki Researcher’s Night was celebrated at the Concert Hall with many activities for children of all ages! Families who participate at DIA-drasis had the chance to visit the event and enjoy as many activities as they like… A lot of children were excited by lab experiments and talking robots, other children enjoyed the shadow-theatre performance “Karagoze as an Astronaut” and everybody played with giant soap bubbles outdoors! It was a brilliant event!
