We are delighted to announce the launch of the HELIOS+ Program, a new initiative dedicated to supporting and integrating third-country nationals into Greek society and the labor market.

With the support of the International Organization for Migration (IOM Greece) and in collaboration with the Greek Government, YMCA (Χ.Α.Ν.Θ.) takes on a leading role in implementing this innovative program. Together with our partners—MDAT SA., Caritas Hellas and SolidarityNow—we are launching new actions to promote inclusion and equal participation for beneficiaries of international and temporary protection in Greece.

Empowering Integration and Independence

The aim of HELIOS+ is to provide holistic services that ensure the socioeconomic independence and professional development of participants. By offering the tools and opportunities they need, we help individuals build a better life in Greece.

Our Services

At the YMCA building, we are establishing a comprehensive support center, offering:

  • Professional training and education
  • Job search assistance and career support
  • Social inclusion activities
  • Housing support services

Building on Proven Success

The HELIOS+ program builds on the success of the original HELIOS initiative (2019–2024) and is co-funded by the European Social Fund+ (ESF+) under the Regional Programs for the 2021–2027 period. This program is fully aligned with Greece’s National Integration Strategy, ensuring a structured and impactful approach to inclusion.

Together for a Better Future

Through HELIOS+, we are creating a future filled with opportunities and hope for everyone. By working together, we are fostering a society where inclusion and equal opportunities are a reality for all.

Join us on this exciting journey of change and possibility!
