Christmas Party!!!

On Friday the 21st of December was our last joint event for this year… the last months of 2018 were full of nice memories here at DIA-drasis!

Early in the afternoon parents and children of the Education and Care program gathered together and shared their experiences… showcase of pictures of daily school activities and a nice surprise! Children and teachers presented a short dancing and singing show!!!

Later, Eirini Marna, preschool teacher and member of the Hellenic Network for Theatre/Drama Education, presented the interactive theatre story “Why do bats hang upside down?”… Children and parents participated and had lots of fun all together, learning how exclusion is never the right answer…

Then, Kokkines Mytes had an extraordinary surprise for us! A naughty Christmas elf made us laugh with his magic tricks and clown gags!!!

Last but not least our unexpected surprise… Santa Claus with his gifts for all the children! Many thanks to our friend Nestoras!!!

Of course we would like to thank all staff and volunteers of DIA-drasis… Drossia, Olga, Despina, Maya, Evina, Bayan, Fatheme, Elena, Doris, Chara, Melika and all the other friends, for their great efforts to prepare this day but for their support everyday as well!!! You make DIA-drasis so much more than just a program… you make it a community with real interaction!!!
