On Friday, July 12th, our students participated in an excursion to significant historical sites in Thessaloniki. They visited the White Tower and the Byzantine Museum, where they showed great interest in all the explanations provided.

The program included water and a snack to help the students replenish their energy. These outdoor activities, part of our soft skills and cultural orientation classes, are always well-received and appreciated by the students as they help them better understand the city they live in.

 

Since 2019, YMCA Thessaloniki (as part of the consortium with MDAT S.A. and the School of Modern Greek Language of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki) has been a partner of International Organization for Migration (IOM) in the implementation of HELIOS project, which as of 2022 is financed by the Ministry of Migration and Asylum.
