Today is an important day since we are celebrating World Children’s Day! November 20th in 1959 UN General Assembly adopted the Declaration of theRights of the Child and 30 years later in 1989 the Convention on the Rights of the Child. The purpose is to raise awareness worldwide and improve children’s welfare.

All together we can play an important part in making children’s rights relevant for society. At the Child Centre “DIA-drasis” we focus on children’s rights, we learn about them and most important we learn to respect them everyday! Children across the world need to be protected… DIA-drasis is a safe space for all children to develop and reach their full potential!

 

This year is extra special, marking the 30th anniversary of the Convention on the Rights of the Child. A time not only to celebrate but a time to demand action for child rights…
