On Tuesday, June 10, 2025, Ms. Aristi Tzoni, Director of the Action and Social Impact Department at YMCA Thessaloniki, accompanied by the HELIOS+ program team members, had the pleasure of attending the opening ceremony of a remarkable exhibition organized by the Experimental Intercultural Elementary School of Thessaloniki. This inspiring event was hosted in the Art Hall of the Charitable Brotherhood of Men of Thessaloniki (F.A.A.TH.).

The exhibition showcased captivating artwork created by young students, emphasizing human rights and children’s rights. Through their vivid drawings and creative collages, these young artists expressed their emotions, hopes, and ideas about crucial global issues.

Visitors were profoundly touched by the heartfelt expressions of these young minds, deepening their awareness and understanding of significant social themes.

The event featured welcoming speeches by notable figures including:

  • Mr. Konstantinidis, President of F.A.A.TH.
  • Professor Paroula Naskou-Perraki, an esteemed expert in International Law and International Organizations at the University of Macedonia
  • Mr. Banos, Principal of the Experimental Intercultural Elementary School
  • Ms. Arida, the school’s dedicated art teacher
